The Original Wiggles (1991-2006)

The original lineup consisted of Anthony Field (Blue), Murray Cook (Red), Greg Page (Yellow), and Jeff Fatt (Purple). They became a global phenomenon with hits like "Hot Potato" and "Fruit Salad."

The New Generation (2006-2012)

Sam Moran replaced Greg Page as the Yellow Wiggle during this period due to Greg's health issues. The group continued their success while maintaining their core message of education through music and dance.

The Current Wiggles (2013-Present)

From Dancers to Wiggles: The Next Generation

Evie Ferris

Evie Ferris, who joined as the Blue Wiggle, brings her background as a professional ballet dancer from the Australian Ballet. As a proud Indigenous Australian woman, she adds representation and brings classical dance expertise to the group.

Kelly Hamilton

Kelly Hamilton, now the Yellow Wiggle, started as a dancer with The Wiggles before becoming a main member. With her background in musical theater and dance, she brings high energy and exceptional choreography skills to the group.

John Pearce

John Pearce, the Purple Wiggle, was previously known as a member of Justice Crew and a backup dancer. His background in hip-hop and street dance adds a contemporary flavor to The Wiggles' dance routines.

Lachlan Gillespie

Before donning the purple skivvy, Lachlan Gillespie was a talented musical theater performer. He graduated from the Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts (WAAPA) with a degree in musical theater. His theatrical background and vocal training made him the perfect fit for The Wiggles, where he would later showcase his operatic talents.

Simon Pryce

Simon Pryce's journey to becoming the Red Wiggle began in opera and musical theater. He performed with Opera Australia and starred in various musicals including "Phantom of the Opera" and "Witches of Eastwick." He first joined The Wiggles family as a voice artist for Dorothy the Dinosaur before becoming a Wiggly Dancer, and eventually, the Red Wiggle.

Anthony Field

Before creating The Wiggles, Anthony Field was a member of the Australian rock band The Cockroaches in the 1980s, where he played guitar and sang backing vocals. He studied Early Childhood Education at Macquarie University, which would later influence The Wiggles' educational approach. His combined experience in music and education became the foundation for The Wiggles' success.

Lucia Field

Lucia Field, daughter of original Blue Wiggle Anthony Field, joined The Wiggles family business as a dancer. Following in her father's footsteps, she brings a new generation of Field talent to the group while maintaining the family's dedication to children's entertainment.

Caterina Mete

Caterina Mete started as a Wiggly Dancer in 2004 and became an integral part of the extended Wiggles family. She has contributed significantly to the group's choreography and has appeared in numerous Wiggles productions, helping shape their distinctive dance style.

Tsehay Hawkins

Tsehay Hawkins, who became the Red Wiggle in 2021, started as a dancer with the group. At just 16 years old when she joined, she brought fresh energy and Latin dance expertise to The Wiggles, being a champion Latin dancer with numerous titles to her name.

Emma and Lachy: A Wiggles Love Story

Emma Watkins (2013-2021)

Emma Watkins made history as the first female Wiggle, joining the group in 2013 as the Yellow Wiggle. She became one of the most popular members, known for her bow-wearing character and ballet dancing. Emma brought a fresh perspective to The Wiggles, inspiring young girls worldwide and introducing new elements like sign language to the show.

Lachlan Gillespie (2013-Present)

Lachlan "Lachy" Gillespie joined as the Purple Wiggle in 2013. He and Emma were married in 2016, becoming a beloved Wiggles power couple. Though they later separated in 2018, they continued to work together professionally, showing tremendous grace and dedication to their young audience. Lachy continues to perform as the Purple Wiggle, bringing his operatic voice and gentle nature to the group.
